An artist interested in sketching portraits of Māori wahine for possible inclusion either on this website or to accompany the text of my proposed book. I would prefer ink or coloured pencil illustrations, however any medium will be considered.
A student or some other interested person willing to assist in the preparation of a database relating to the shore whalers, their partners and the stations where they resided and worked. I have already spent sometime devising what I consider to be an appropriate specification. This database will address the geographical areas covered by my proposed book and will be useful in sorting and manipulating data and facilitating in its interpretation. I have a strong preference for this person to reside in Wellington so that I could discuss this project with them personally.
