Website in Brief

This site is designed to encourage and assist interested persons to compile biographical profiles about those fascinating wahine/women that partnered the New Zealand shore whalers. My objective is to bring together a collection of biographical essays thereby raising the profile of these women and preserving their story. By offering the benefit of my experience to others I hope that they might in return contribute essays, which can then be added to my existing collection.
